Limerick, PA (Montgomery County) – May 18, 2026 – Waters Retail Group (Kennett Square, PA), a leading development, management, leasing, and brokerage firm in Southeast Pennsylvania, is pleased to announce the groundbreaking of a new 23,250-square-foot Sprouts Farmers Market at the Heritage Crossing Shopping Center in Limerick, PA. The project is being developed by Hirshland & Company.
Construction began in March 2026, with an anticipated opening in fall 2026. Located at the intersection of W. Ridge Pike and N. Township Line Road, Heritage Crossing Shopping Center is well-positioned to serve the growing Limerick community. The addition of Sprouts Farmers Market will further enhance the center’s retail mix, offering fresh, natural, and organic grocery options.
In addition to Sprouts, approximately 12,000 square feet of adjacent retail, office, and medical space has been approved and is currently available for lease. Existing tenants at Heritage Crossing include McDonald’s, Walgreens, Childtime Learning Center, and Citadel Credit Union, all of which will remain open during construction.
Founded in 2002, Sprouts Farmers Market has grown to more than 380 stores across 25 states, specializing in farm-fresh produce and better-for-you grocery offerings at affordable prices.
Waters Retail Group represented the landlord and led all phases of the project, including entitlements, LOI and lease negotiations, land development, DEP and PennDOT approvals, bidding, contracting, and full construction management.
